“I love being a travel counsellor!

My clients are the most important thing to me. I consistently give each and every one of them the best possible service, no matter what the size of the booking.

Working from home means that I don’t keep ‘regular office hours’. Evenings and weekends are my specialty. I’m available when my clients are!

I have access to hundreds of suppliers and thousands of travel products. This allows me to find the perfect solutions for your travel needs.

I never stop learning! Regular participation in corporate trainings, supplier trainings, webinars, seminars@sea and conference calls keeps me up to date on what’s happening with our suppliers and the numerous electronic or paper editions of travel publications keep me aware of what’s happening in the travel industry as a whole.

As you can see from the ’About Us’ page of this website, TPI is a member of numerous associations and organizations, and as such, I adhere to the most stringent of professional standards.

I am a Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) and a member of the Canadian Institute of Travel Counsellors (CITC). In addition, I am a cruise specialist and an Accredited Cruise Counsellor (ACC) certified by the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).

Every travel counsellor in the Province of Ontario is required to pass the TICO Education Standards Travel Counsellor Exam, and I have. A copy of my certificate is available by request.”

“Ron Jarman, Travel Consultant. What was I thinking?

I have been involved in the entertainment industry for over 30 years as a professional musician and most recently as owner/operator of a multi-system disc jockey company. I maintain a close relationship with the wedding industry. With exceptional client service skills, I interact closely with wedding couples before and during their “big day”.

When Janna and I joined the travel industry, I was content with staying in Janna’s wake. Boy was I on the wrong ship! So began my journey into the travel industry. I am consistently participating in Agency Trainings, Supplier trainings, product launches, FAMs and Seminars at Sea. I enjoy helping clients plan their travel adventures. I can also help plan a destination wedding, honeymoon or any other travel requirements.

I especially enjoy educating clients on the merits of cruising. Janna and I have been on several cruises and participated in seminars@sea with several different cruise lines. Cruising in my opinion is the best value for your travel dollars.”
